Green is the new blue

As we are well and truly into the 21st century, we’re always finding new ways to do things. Not only can we now build a wall entirely out of plants but we can also have them falling from the sky. Well, not literally, but we guess hanging plants could have that effect. Nonetheless, hanging plants are on the rise, literally, and we’ve got some winners for you. Forget the blue sky outside, make your indoor one beautiful and green.

Hanging plants are great for an office with limited free space to put traditional potted plants. They also add some beautiful colour to alfresco dining areas as well as homes with limited space for a garden. Those without much access to outdoor spaces can still enjoy the great outdoors all within their 4 walls. Why not paint the sky green with some of the trendiest hanging plants Mother Nature has to offer?

The first hanging plant we’ll look at is the Pothos, also known as Devil’s Ivy.

This plant is a great way to get started with caring for plants. The Pothos is a very easy and undemanding plant to care for and it looks great hanging from the ceiling. These plants actually look better hung up than any other way as its big heart-shaped leaves grow long to create a curtain of green and yellow inside your space.

The term Devil’s Ivy comes from the plants immortal like stamina. It is almost impossible to kill. This will carry a huge element of appeal for the not too plant savvy people. This leafy vine can reach up to 40 feet or more, however will usually confine itself to about 6 to 10 feet in indoor spaces. It is a great way to dress up your office, home or business without sacrificing anymore much need space!
